Cameron’s contact info.
609-617-7764 and carlsonk21@hotmail.com My name is Cameron Kennedy, and I am a 14-year-old Freshman at Williamstown High School. I started Cub Scouts when I was five and climbed the ranks until I was eleven when I became a Boy Scout.
I have been working hard through the ranks, and I currently have over forty merit badges. I am only one step away from becoming an Eagle Scout. Last year, I was asked to be the Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and this year I was voted as our troop’s Senior Patrol Leader. Being a Senior Patrol Leader is a huge responsibility as I oversee the weekly meetings, and I must work hard to ensure that the other Scouts are progressing in ranks and adhering to the Scout Laws and Oath. McGuinness Funeral Home reached out with an idea of creating a “butterfly/meditation/prayer” garden. After meeting Elisha (from McGuinness Funeral Home), I am excited to start this transformation as my Eagle Project. I have a lot of ideas to transform this area into a beautiful, peaceful and calming area. This garden would be ideal for grieving ones to sit and reflect on those loved ones that they have lost. I am proud to share that the Community Prayer and Meditation Garden has been officially approved as my Eagle Scout project by the Crossroad District Advancement Committee, and I look forward to making a positive impact through this project. |

Shadow of glory book
Feb. 19, 2026
When I speak before rotary clubs, at the end of my talk, I offer to sign a copy of my book for any member interested in buying one for themself or a family member. The book retails for $26.95 but I discount it by about 20 percent to $22.00 and for every book purchased, I donate $3.00 back to the club. Hope that arrangement is fine.
As for my bio, I grew up and live in Chester County, PA. Shadows of Glory is my seventh book, five of which have been sports-related.
I appreciate the invite — looking forward to speaking before your club.

Many Hands Needed: 3rd Grade Literacy Project Labeling Party! Our 3rd Grade Literacy Project is moving into the next phase! The books have been delivered to Central Office. Before we can get these books into the hands of local students, we need to add our Rotary sponsor labels to each copy. The book we chose this year is Andy and Elmer's Apple Dumpling Adventure (supplied by Rotary Club of Fairborn, Ohio) which focuses on ethics, entrepreneurship, and making good choices. The storyline speaks about the Four-Way Test. Date: Thursday, March 19th @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Location: 206 E. Holly Ave - Sewell (Board Room) We’re looking for volunteers to help us peel, stick, and prep the books for distribution. It’s a simple task, but a vital one to ensure the students know these books come with the support of our club. Please see the available time slots below and sign up to help us! Teams are broken down by school to help us keep count of how many books are needed per school. Thank you for your help! Stay Tuned: Next Sign Up is for book distribution day (Date: TBD) at each of our six elementary schools! |

The labels are on, the boxes are packed, and the kids are waiting! It’s time to deliver our literacy project books to the 3rd-grade classrooms. There is nothing quite like the look on a student's face when they realize the book is theirs to keep. We need 2-3 volunteers to represent our Rotary Club at each of our six elementary schools to:
Note: If you have, please wear your Rotary shirt and/or pin and arrive 15 minutes early to sign in at the school office. The Principal should usually walks to each class with us. Thank you! |
