3rd Grade Literacy Project: Distribution on 3/31

The labels are on, the boxes are packed, and the kids are waiting! It’s time to deliver our literacy project books to the 3rd-grade classrooms. There is nothing quite like the look on a student's face when they realize the book is theirs to keep. We need 2-3 volunteers to represent our Rotary Club at each of our six elementary schools to:

• Introduce themselves and briefly explain what Rotary does (on a community and international level).
• Talk to the students about the joy of reading
• Ready: Andy & Elmer's Apple Dumpling Adventure Book to the class.
• Reminder to leave a copy for each classroom and librarian.
• Distribute cooresponding Activity Books & Bookmarks

Note: If you have, please wear your Rotary shirt and/or pin and arrive 15 minutes early to sign in at the school office. The Principal should usually walks to each class with us.
